Glo Media is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We decide how and why your personal data is used.

Glo Media is a trading name of Lamond Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 12248063), VAT number GB335344805.
Registered office: Forest Links Road, Ferndown, Dorset, BH22 9PH.
We work from Dunfermline, Fife.
2. What we collect
- What you send us - the name, email address and message you enter in the contact form, or anything you send us by email.
- Technical data - your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our host records this to serve the site and to keep it secure.
- Cookie data - see section 7.
We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data (such as health, financial or biometric information) through this website. Please do not send it to us. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. How we collect it
- Directly from you - when you submit the contact form or email us.
- Automatically - our host logs technical data as you browse, and our anti-bot check processes your request when you submit the form.
4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we need a lawful basis for each use. We rely on:
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) - to read, answer and keep a record of the enquiries you send us, to keep the website working, and to protect it against spam and abuse. We have weighed our interest in doing this against your rights, and we keep the data to the minimum needed.
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) - where you are a client, to provide the services you have engaged us for and to keep the records we must keep.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) - to keep accounting and tax records.
We do not rely on consent for anything on this website, and we do not send marketing email to people who contact us through it.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work - up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Client and accounting records - 6 years after the end of the financial year, as HMRC requires.
- Server and security logs - a short period set by our host, kept for security and troubleshooting.
We will delete your data sooner if you ask us to and we are not required to keep it.
6. Who processes it
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of providers to run the site and the business:
- Cloudflare - hosts and serves this website, provides its security and anti-bot protection, and delivers the email the contact form sends us. Cloudflare processes technical data and the contents of a contact-form submission on our behalf, and may process data outside the UK under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses.
- PurelyMail - provides the mailbox our email is received in, so your email address and message are stored there.
We do not use an analytics service, an advertising network, or a marketing platform on this website.
7. Cookies
We set one cookie of our own, and no others:

Because we set nothing optional, the choice that cookie records is currently always "essential only". Our anti-bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a short-lived cookie of its own as part of checking a form submission; it is a security measure, not tracking, and it is not used to build a profile of you or for advertising.
You can clear cookies at any time in your browser. You can also re-open the cookie notice using the link in the footer.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access - ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification - ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure - ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Restrict processing - ask us to limit what we do with your data.
- Portability - receive data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object - object to processing we base on legitimate interests.
To use any of these, email office@glo.media. We will respond within one calendar month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not hand data to the wrong person.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, and you are welcome to.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not apply a new purpose to data you have already given us without telling you.
