Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 11 September 2026. These terms apply to all services provided by Glo Media, Dunfermline.

1. About these terms

These terms govern the website, booking, social media and support services Glo Media provides. Glo Media is a trading name of Lamond Limited (company number 12248063), registered in England and Wales.

"We" and "us" mean Glo Media; "you" means the business engaging us. They apply to whatever we agree with you in writing - a quote, an email or a message - and to any monthly plan.

Where a written agreement and these terms disagree, the written agreement wins. We may update these terms; the version in force when we agree the work applies to that work.

2. What we do

  • We build and look after websites, set up online booking, and run social media for beauty businesses.
  • What is included is set out in the plan or quote we agree with you. Anything not listed there is not included.
  • If you ask for something outside that scope, we will tell you what it involves and what it costs before we start it.

3. Fees and payment

  • The fee, and what it covers, is agreed with you in writing before any work starts.
  • Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance and run month to month. There is no minimum term and no lock-in.
  • We do not charge a setup fee unless we have agreed one in writing.
  • If an invoice goes unpaid we may pause work and then suspend the service. We will always tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

4. What we need from you

  • The content the site needs - text, prices, photographs and logos - and confirmation that we may use it.
  • Access to what we need to set things up, such as your domain, hosting or booking platform account.
  • Prompt answers when we ask you something. Any launch date we give is an estimate and depends on how quickly we get these.

5. Your site, domain and content

  • Your domain, your content and your photographs are yours, and they stay yours if you leave.
  • We keep ownership of the tools, components and ways of working we use to build and run sites, and we may reuse them for other clients.
  • We may show the finished work in our portfolio and link to it, unless you ask us not to.

6. Services we do not control

  • Your site depends on services we do not control, such as a domain registrar, a hosting provider, or a booking platform like Fresha. Their own terms, charges and availability apply to those parts.
  • We will tell you what third-party services we are setting up for you and what they cost, if anything.

7. Support

  • We answer support requests as quickly as we reasonably can during normal working hours.
  • Support and small changes are included in a monthly plan. Without a monthly plan we quote for them separately.
  • We may need to take a site down briefly for maintenance. We will give you notice where we can.

8. Our liability

  • We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise that a website will be free of every fault, and we cannot promise a particular number of enquiries or bookings.
  • We are not responsible for loss caused by a service we do not control, by content you supplied, or by anything outside our control.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending the agreement

  • Either of us can end a monthly plan at any time with one month's notice.
  • If you leave, you keep your domain, your content and your photographs. We will hand over what we hold for you once outstanding fees are settled, and tell you what you need to keep the site running elsewhere.
  • We may stop acting for you if we are asked to do something unlawful. If that happens we will refund anything you have paid for work we have not done.

10. Your data

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which is on this website.

11. Complaints

If something is not right, tell us and we will do our best to put it right promptly and fairly.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
